Clean and comfortable cabins near the city with a good kitchen and a great shower. Spacious cabins with enough room for four people and their luggage.- Convenient parking right outside the property.- Good location for observing the Northern Lights.- Comfortable beds and cozy atmosphere.- Very good WiFi and a BBQ facility.- Helpful and friendly hosts.

One person may find it inconvenient to access the bed if it is positioned next to a wall. Some guests felt that the cabins were a bit expensive compared to other similar accommodations in Iceland.

Had a great xmas stay! Cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a grill and dishes. The location was perfect, just a mile or two from town, and it felt secluded which we loved. The owner was very helpful, giving us recommendations for dining and activities in the area. The communication was efficient and the check-in process was easy. If we return to this area, we would definitely consider staying here again!

To our stay. The cabin we stayed in was a bit smaller than expected, especially the bedroom where the bed was pushed against the wall, making it feel cramped.

had a wonderful stay at a cozy cabin in Hofn. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathroom was clean. The highlight was watching the northern lights from the front porch and the hill nearby. Owner even texted our guide about the lights! Perfect base to explore the south coast.

one small towel missing

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a cozy cabin with breathtaking views of the surrounding farmland and majestic mountains. the location was ideal, close to town yet secluded enough to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. the cabin itself was comfortable and well, equipped, with spacious showers and a well, stocked kitchen. the large windows allowed us to take in the beauty of the surroundings, and the balcony provided a perfect spot for relaxation. the clear instructions and excellent communication made our arrival and stay hassle, free. We would highly recommend this accommodation for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

One thing to note is that there could have been better communication regarding payment, as we were surprised by a charge to a deleted credit card.

our 7th trip to hofn, and aurora cabins villa still managed to exceed our expectations. the modern interiors and large windows provided a luxurious yet homely feel. the communication and instructions were spot-on, making our arrival and unpacking seamless. aurora cabins villa is definitely one of the best accommodations we've experienced in iceland.

We had an amazing time at these cozy cabins, enjoying the beautiful view, comfortable beds, and great facilities. The grill was a highlight, just remember not to buy salted meat. The clean and well-designed cabins were the perfect base for exploring the stunning wilderness and capturing breathtaking photos. Despite the cloudy weather, this location would be perfect for viewing the Northern lights. The hosts were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Rustic exterior with brand new, stylish interior. Great shower and covered porch with a new barbecue. Stunning views from nearby hill bench.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Aurora Cabins! The location was perfect for stargazing and observing the northern lights. The cabins are situated away from the city, so there was minimal light pollution, allowing us to fully enjoy the night sky. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and all the necessary amenities. We especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, which allowed us to prepare our own breakfast each morning.

One minor downside was that the kitchen exhaust hood didn't work very well, so the smell of food lingered in the cabin. Additionally, being close to the road meant that occasional passing cars caused some light pollution, which affected our night-sky photography.
